Meet Phyn & Benji: Trailblazers of Art and Advocacy
Benji Mob
Hi!! My name is Benji Mob, and I am trying to raise money to go to queer camp!! I love doing art, and on my website, I will be selling art and things I have made! Art is a way to go into my world. I love art, and I hope you like my art too!
I am almost 12, and I am a queer/trans furry. I go to middle school in Bellingham, and school is not easy for me. Being gay and trans AND a furry is not easy. That is why camp would be so so amazing 🤩 So please donate, watch my slideshow and buy my art!
I appreciate whatever you can give! ✨✨✨
Phyn
Hi, my name is Phyn!
I use he/him pronouns and am a gay, trans boy. I am fourteen. I am the co-director of my school's GSA, essentially our gay club. I am an artist and am working to improve my skills daily, I like drawing queer characters and my preferred medium is graphite, but I like spray paint.
I want to go to Camp Brave Trails to meet other queer kids, hopefully other trans guys because, as of now, I don’t know many. I want to learn to be a better queer leader for my school and community.
Camp Brave Trails is a fully accredited overnight summer camp specially designed for LGBTQ teens, ages 12-17, emphasizing leadership development. Their goal is to foster a supportive space where LGBTQ youth can connect with like-minded individuals, explore their identities, and pursue their passions. They enthusiastically welcome campers from across the country and around the world! (Camp Brave Trails, 2024).
